Nepperhan Fire Arms Company
The illusive Nepperhan Firearms Company of Yonkers, New York produced
approximately 4,500 .36 caliber pocket pistols that are very similar to the
Manhattan. Many of the internal parts are identical, but the trigger guard is a
separate entity that slides into a recess in the frame and is secured by
screwing down the side plate.  We are pursuing further information about the
Nepperhan pistols and will share the fruits of that research on these pages.
The first photograph shows the no-frills
appearance of a Nepperhan. The trigger
guard is placed into position from the
other side and secured by the side
plate.  Nepperhan pistols appeared with
three different barrel marking
arrangements:

The second photograph shows the 3-line
Nepperhan name.
